Is anyone using a band instead of a DJ at their reception?If so, what band and why?Also do you have any recommendations for a band? Thanks!

    We're using a DJ, but we are wishing we thought to use this band! There are friends of our family and they play at all our get togethers and we always have a great time. They're out of Jackson, check them out! :) You can also check out their facebook by searching "The Tonecasters" http://www.myspace.com/thetonecasters Hope this helps!

    We had a band, Jedi Mind Trip.  They typically play at bars in Saginaw, Bay City, and East Lansing.  I think it was at Rick's Bar in east Lansing.  they were awesome!  My fiance even wrote me a song and they took the time to learn it so he could play it infront of everyone.  It was $2000.  Bands are pricier than DJ's, but if you ask me, it was 150% worth it.
