Engagement Party Venue Help

Hello! My fiance's aunt & uncle are kindly throwing us an engagement party in December and we are having a hard time finding a venue.  I live in Dallas and they live in DC, so we need some help from the locals!  :)We are looking for a place that can hold 100-150 guests and will provide everything (tables, linens, tableware, food, drinks, etc).  We are working on a limited budget (ideally they would like to spend no more than $40/person including all taxes & fees). So far they have contacted Cleopatra catering and that seems to be the top choice right now, but we'd like to keep our options open.  I contacted Ashton Gardens but it is definitely out of our price range!Any suggestions would be very much appreciated! :)

Are you looking for something formal?  Try hotels in the area.  They will provide you everything you mentioned plus the catering.

Or country clubs. Northgate Country Club is in that side of town and in your price range too.

It probably won't be too formal, but I know they do want it in a reception-style venue.  So hotels and country clubs would work perfectly!  I was afraid most hotels & country clubs would be too expensive... but I will probably start reaching out to some just to see.  I've already filled out an RFA for Northgate :)Thanks!!!
