How did you follow up with your guests who didn't RSVP on time? How much effort did you put into it?TIA!

    Facebook and text message. FI helped a lot with his family, sending emails and such. Put in a solid first effort, but don't kill yourself over it!

    I have the same concerns. My shower is the 27th and most people have not RSVP'd yet. I think it is sort of rude but also I am concerned no one will come and we will have too much food.

    Ugh, I think we had about 30 people not RSVP on time.  I sent out emails to them or texts instead of calling.  May not be complete etiquette, but I didn't care.  Pretty much all responded to me that way except maybe 4-6 who I had to call after giving them a few days.

    MY RSVP deadline is today and we divided the duties: my mom called my family members who were rude and didn't meet deadline, FI's mom called her side, and I called and/or FB/emailed the friends. We each ended up with about 7 couples to be responsible for. What a pain in my a$$. And, I say screw etiquette at this point b/c they were rude in not getting a self- addressed stamped envelope in on time! UGH! (Can you tell I'm a bit upset at ppl today!)

    We did similar to Beener. My mom took care of my family, MIL took care of that side and between me and DH we took care of friends.We called, just so we could get immediate responses. It worked well. Our RSVP due date was a Friday and we had our final counts by Sunday.

    I told Brian last night that he's going to have to help me call and yell at the non-RSVPers.  LOL!
