Alfred Angelo Shreveport, Louisiana

Okay people I am having a huge PROBLEM!! I bought my gown from Alfred Angelo Bridal Salon. I had an AMAZING lady who was with me from the beggining until her husband got transfered and she moved. After that when my dress finally arrived I have had the worst service!!! I went to try on my dress and pick it up. The lady hung it in the room and went back to the counter to gab with other workers. I had to get into the dress with the help of a friend.... ask for the bra and other undergarments. I then did everything else until I packed it up and walked out of the store! Then when I came back to have it bustled which was explained to me as part of buying my dress there they were charging me 150 dollars for 3 loops.... I went somewhere else and it was 35!! Then my poor BRIDESMAIDS have had there orders magically disappear in there computers. They told all of my girls the wrong sizes to get in there dresses and now they are all too big... THEY IGNORE us when we walk in and have terrible ATTITUDES!! WHAT SHOULD I DOOO!!!

  • I would send an email to corporate detailing the problems and what resolution you think would be fair to both the store and you. If you speak to them politely and give them specifics and explain how they can help you be a satisfied customer they are more likely to help. If that doesnt work you might consider detailing your complaint to the Better Business Bureau in your area. Many times they can help get problems solved for you. However though a chain store like Alfred Angelo wants you to be happy because your recommendation to a friend or your bad word of mouth costs them customers. Many times they will work with you to make things right. They might be able to reorder the bridesmaids dresses or alter them for free or a very small fee, since they most likely would have needed a little altering anyway. Think of a good solution everyone can be satisfied with and I'm sure you can get something close to that. If nothing else then be sure to tell everyone you know about your treatment there. I used another Alfred Angelo (California) for my dresses and was very pleased with them. However David's Bridal out here is horrible. I guess it is all about where you live. Best of luck.
  • I agree with the other post. I would contact their corporate office, if possible. I have also had a fairly bad experience at AA, and it is very frustrating. I have my dress, but haven't decided if I am going to get alterations elsewhere. I am afraid someone will mess it up, but I don't trust them. Good luck. I am sure if you calmly explain your situation to a manager or corporate, they will understand.
  • I usually just lurk, but I wanted to say that I had the same problem at the same store!  The girl that helped me find my dress was amazing, but, when I went to pick it up, I had the same experience.  My dress was placed in the dressing room and I had to put it on myself.  Since I went to the store alone, I couldn't try it on.  Would you mind telling me where you had your alterations done?  I'm scared to see what Alfred Angelo would charge me.
