Our venue was unable to return our $1500 so we had to make a decision to either forego our deposit or to continue as originally planned having our wedding and reception at DeerCreek. After some back and forth, they were willing & able to eliminate the food & beverage minimum requirement for us, which is a HUGE help. This gesture will save us about $700 overall. With me being unemployed, this is a big deal. So, I guess the original colors and tablescape plan will continue as previously discussed. We're going to definitely have to scale back on the honeymoon which we will finalize after the new year, when I get a better idea on how much we will be getting back in taxes.
I guess it all worked out.
