What to wear to my wedding shower???

Hi ladies. My wedding shower is next month (Feb) in the afternoon at a hall. About 80 people will be attending… I have no idea what to wear. I have only attended one wedding shower before and it was during the summer so the bride wore a cute strapless dress and heels. Should I wear a dress and heels? I get cold easily and don’t want to freeze seeing that it is winter in MI, but I don’t know what else to wear. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks :)

    I wore dresses to all of my showers with a combination of flats and low heels.  If you are more comfortable, I think slacks and a nice sweater are fine to wear to a shower.  If you want to wear a dress, you can wears tights and a sweater over it to stay warm.  Where whatever makes you comfortable.

    The store White House Black Market has perfect shower dresses. I would try there.

    You need to look good because your picture will be taken a million times.  And 20 years from now, your kids will be laughing at the crazy clothes we wore back then.    A great dress with a pair of dressed up boots works as does a soft angora sweater with tweed pants and low heels.   To my fall shower, I wore a teal v neck dress with gold peep toe flats.
