OOT bags?

So I really want to do a out of town bag, however this will be the first to go if we do not have enough money for it. I am thinking something worth wild to put in the bags. I for sure want an itinerary of the week's events. So here is my question, if we do forgo the bags, how else would I get the itinerary to the guests? Thanks :) I really dont want to mail it to them, I am guessing some of the guests will forget it at home.

    Are you having a welcome dinner?  Hand them out then.We may print up cheat sheets for the WP, but I think I can trust my guests to either bring the information with them, or ask if they forget.  Unless you've planned every minute of the entire week for them, there shouldn't be THAT much information to keep track of.

    Sometimes I feel like people think that brides are delicate little flower princesses who get all dressed up and pretty for one special moment of their dreams, when really they're just normal people who just happen to be getting married. Things shouldn't have to be sugar-coated for grown-ass women. -mstar284

    No welcome dinner, but we are having a co-bach/ette party Tuesday night so I wanted the details down for people. where/when kind of thing. then the only other thing planned is the wedding on Thursday. I wanted to have a few details down for the shuttle, and reception. I guess I am just over thinking, this is where being a planner is a CON, you want to give everyone as much info as possible, or at least I do.

    Just make sure everyone has your phone number, or better yet, the phone number of someone you can designate as a point person for schedule questions (maybe an attendant or family member).  That way if someone runs into issues, they can give you a call.

    I'm sending out a tri-fold wedding brochure to all RSVP'd guest abouts three weeks prior. It has a detailed schedule of all events as well as tons of Vegas info and both of our contact info. Made them on Publisher, printing them at home, shouldn't be too expensive.

    I'm going to have my wedding programs/brochures handed out as the guests walk into the ceremony. We're not doing any pre-wedding activities so it bascially just gives a rundown of the ceremony and on. I like the idea of mailing them out to the yes rsvp'ers before the wedding...especially if you have pre-wedding activities planned.

    We sent out a tri fold leaflet with the invites a year out and then put together a booklet for the OOT bags and gave them out 4weeks out! I think its up to the guests to remember them when they pack etc and you shouldn't have to worry and stress over it! As long as the guests have someone's number who will be there if they do forget it, it won't be so bad!
