Has anyone ordered a wedding dress from J.Crew or through PreOwnedWeddingDresses.com? Thoughts? Experiences? I'm on a budget and I'm looking for alternatives to buying from a bridal salon.

    I got my dress from J. Crew and had a really great experience.  My good friend was married over Labor Day weekend and also got hers from J. Crew.Let me know if you have any specific questions!

    I'm not sure what your budget is - but I bought my Watters dress from The Wedding Shoppe for $600.  It was listed around $850 and I just flat out asked for a discount, and they gave me one...  so it never hurts to ask!You could also look at a bridesmaid dress, but in white or ivory.  Bridesmaids dresses are often so much less expensive than wedding dresses, and many have very similar styles.
