Myself and other BMs are planning our friend's bachelorette in Portsmouth.  We have a room at the Sheraton right in downtown I was hoping you girls could suggest a good resturant to start the night out at for apps. and drinks.  and then maybe some fun bars. Thanks!!

    The Restarant Ri Ra in Portsmouth is one of my favorites. It's in an old bank, which gives it a really cool feel. Some of the tables are in the old safe. It's Irish pub type food. When we went there a few weeks back there was a bachelorette party in there - they had a long table in one of the cells in the old safe, so it was like a private little area, sort of behind bars - very cool. Might be a nice place to start... For drinks and dancing, the downstairs area at the Portsmouth Brewery is very fun :) Hope this helps!

    We did the same thing for mine!! We went to Cava Tapas restaurant... good wine, got a bunch of tapas and shared them. Not a place I'd recommend if you want a filling dinner, but it was delish.

    Ditto, same for my bachelorette party too!we went to a really yummy flatbread pizza place (I forget the name sorry) that had an area with couches just for us.  Then we headed out downtown.  We went to a couple of bars where we could sit and talk and then headed to the Gaslight and danced the night away upstairs until they closed.  I had a BLAST at gaslight.  It's not for everyone but it was perfect for the low-key (aka not boston) but still super fun party I wanted :)   Good luck!
