Shoes! Shoes! Shoes!

I am having such a hard time finding shoes for the wedding.  I am a huge shoe person, so I guess I'm just being overly picky.  I found a pair that I think will work but the problem is the height.  I really just want kitten heels because they are more comfortable.  I believe that someone on this site mentioned that you can get the heel shortened???  Is that true?  If so, where would I go, a cobbler?  TIA

Get outta my head girl!!!  I was JUST saying this to my FI last night.  I want kitten heels (I want to be comfortable, but cute) and I cannot find any that I like!  I have scoured the online sites and I meant to go to a few stores this weekend but I only made it to DSW and they didn't have anything there.  It's like when you say kitten heel the manufacturers immediately make an ugly, clunky looking shoe.

Also, something really weird was going on with your Knot avatar this morning - it was someone else named Jill and the pic obviously was not you.  LOL (random comment, I know!)

Yes, a good cobbler will be able to do the work in no time flat.  Hopefully, there is one in your area.  They are becoming a rare breed.

Yes, you can def have your heel shortened.  My sister and I have had heels go from 4.5 inches to a more demure 3 inches...and they still look fab.  Hope you can find a place in your area.  If not, I am more than willing to take them to the place my sister and I go and send them back to you.  Let me know.

I love the idea of kitten heels...
Less stress on your body & less risk of falling! (a real worry of mine LOL)

Any cobbler will be able to shorten them. They're usually either in malls or "old-town" areas.

I am actually having shoe buyer's remorse... I bought some shoes that very very similar to what I wanted, but am now not satisfied... I feel like I should either find those EXACT shoes, or find something completely different...
