NWR: I'm a Mommy!

Hi, ladies! Sorry I have been MIA for the last few weeks...and I deeply apologize to anyone whose big day was missed because of missed Kallah posts. Also, a happy belated anniversary to my fellow 8/31/08 brides! I can't believe the year went so fast! Now, on to the point of this post....I would like to introduce the newest member of my family - Elias Solomon was born September 3rd @ 1:08 AM via c-section after 27 1/2 hours of labor. I had the intention of going natural, but after my water was broken for over 10 hours, I had to be induced with pitocin to start regular contractions. 17 hours later I hadn't progressed past 5 cm so the midwife suggested an epidural to try to get me to sleep and relax as a last ditch effort. No good. The c-section was nothing - I even slept through it. Eli's bris was on Thursday, and was a wonderful event! My crazy SIL (the one I always vented about) took care of catering, my FIL took care of paying the Rabbi and Mohel, and I relaxed with my baby. Here's the link to his newborn pro-pic preview: http://laurenliesephotography.com/Blog/If you're interested, video is available of the bris (no gory details) @ http://gallery.me.com/wheezemd#100240
The Knot won't share my Bump Siggy, so here's the low-down: 4/27/07 - Got engaged! 8/31/08 - Got married (to my best friend)! 12/30/08 - Got Pregnant! 9/3/09 - Welcome to the world, Elias Solomon! 8/16/10 - Got Pregnant, again! 5/14/11 - Welcome to the world, Talia Hadassah! 1/14/12 - Ready or not, here comes #3 (EDD 9/27/12)
