  I asked a photographer the same question a few months ago - and apparently the fence was torn down!! I was sad. : (

  I don't think it's torn down. Are you talking about the white fence where there's a yellow box and it says LOVE in black? I was in Austin labor day weekend and saw that fence. I don't remember the exact cross street but I remember I was driving to get to Mercury Hall and found the fence. From downtown I went South on Lamar, East on Oltorf. It isn't at the intersection of Lamar and Oltorf but keep going down Oltorf and it will be on your right (Don't remember the cross street). If you've hit South 1st you've gone too far.   oh wait, nevermind. i don't think that's the fence your'e talking about. you said it had a love quote written on it. sorry! but there's another fence with just the word love on it if that helps.

  The fence that I was told was torn down was the one that had red writing.....is that the one you mean?

  no, the one i've seen has a quote in red writing i believe and it ends with "love" in black.
