..If so what song are/did you use?

I am doing this as a little "US" time during the wedding since we are taking all pictures before hand.

Thinking of using Wonderful Tonight by Eric Clapton

Opinions?

    Yes! 

    Totally worth it. One of my favorite times of the entire day. 

    We used one of "our" songs. "Everything" by Johnny Cooper. It's a Texas Country song that has a special meaning to us, and every time I hear it on my ipod even still I think about our private last dance and tear up and get this big grin on my face. 

    ETA: Also, since you're doing pictures beforehand, you can always sneak away after the ceremony and have a few minutes of alone time before going to the reception. We did that, and it was well worth it also. The first few minutes after becoming husband and wife, together alone, are priceless. Of course, our photog was in the room with us but we didn't even notice them.

    We are doing one and I'm way excited.

    It's actually my FI's job to pick a song and surprise me for the private last dance.  But I think that he was looking at "Hands Down" by Dashboard.  (only because I walked into our house yesterday and he quickly turned the song off and shut his computer).

    Yes and it was the best part of our wedding! 

    We danced to George Strait " I Cross my Heart" ... I always wanted it to be my first dance song growing up.   Since it is a bit cheesy now and it would make me cry in a very ugly way, we decided to save it for the end.

    Yes and it was the favorite thing of the night for both of us. 

    I chose the song "Stay Forever" by Ween, one of Ben's favorite bands as a surprise for him.

    Your DJ clears the room of all the guests and you and your husband dance alone to a song.  Your photographer will stay to capture it but you won't even notice.  These were some of my favorite pictures of the night.

    Oh I had never heard of that! I don't think it would work at my reception unless we did it before the reception starts while they are all at the cocktail hour.  Since I think everyone will be dancing the night away!!!

    This was my favorite part.  I didn't even notice the photographer but you can tell me are 100% in love in the pictures.  We used My Best Friend by Tim McGraw. 

    Also I agree with Natalie, if you can sneak off for a few minutes before the reception do this.  Our chapel knows it's important for brides and grooms to have that alone time so after we walked down the aisle we went up to the bridal suite and had about 5 of us time and it was perfect!  We also snuck off during the reception to just be together.

    Well, they have to leave sometime.  :)  We had everyone line up for our exit while we were doing ours.  We had a set time that the reception was over so that is why it worked for us.

    I think you could do it if you want to!

    The DJ clears the room and sends everyone out to get their bubbles/flower petals/streamers or whatever they are throwing at you when you make your exit.

    Then you make your big exit right after your private dance. :)

    <div>It should work for any reception. Normally it happens when everyone is lining up for the bride and groom to make their exit, so everyone is already out of the building. :)</div>

    FI I don't think even knows what it is..lol I picked "Lost In This Moment With You" by Big and Rich. I'm thinking it's perfect...us in the ballroom having our moment we can get lost in...HA! That was cheesy! :)

    We were having a really hard time deciding, but two weeks before the wedding we were out somewhere and heard "Let's Stay Together" by Al Green. I commented that I loved that song, and Courts said his dad (who passed away 1 1/2 years before the wedding) loved Al Green, so it just seemed perfect. :)

    I want to do one, but I'm not sure how we would do it. I'm not planning on having a big exit because I think we'd rather stay & party until the end. I'll have to figure out what we're going to do.
