Re: quick, show me your googling/shopping skiils

• burkedecor.comrockettstgeorge.co.uk (like their stuff, dunno what their shipping is like)threepotatofourshop.com
• Urban Outfitters!  No google needed.
• Pier One also gets a lot of stuff like that.
• danke! runs to look
• World Market/Cost Plus has some cool items.  Mostly more ethnic, but some pieces can work well with the Anthropologie look.  Or zgallerie has some too.

• West Elm is another one of my favorites, but it is more retro looking.

• Urban Outfitters actually owns Anthropologie. They're stuff is very similar but a little bit cheaper in price. They are also having a lot of sales lately so I would check them out first. I've also been able to find some good stuff that has the Anthropolgie aesthetic at some of my local antique or second hand stores. You could check there as well. I don't know where you are located but there is a second hand store called Second Hand Rose in Buffalo MN that has absolutely adorable stuff at VERY reasonable prices.
• yeah ok i'm not really liking any of those.
• Hmmm...yeah they are a different look overall, although some pieces would work.  I am brain dead now for others.  I love anthropolgie.

• Shabby Chic (by Rachel Atwell) would have been exactly what you wanted but they closed in the spring.NYC was the last store to close and the sale was fantastic.Lst time M was looking for some sheets to add on to the sets they have, she went to google and ebay for sites and sellers of any SC goods still left.  Some odd stores bought up a lot of the end stock so check that too.Love their dish & linen sets too
• If you dig in Urban Outfitters site, you'll see a lot of the same merch for less, like PP said, it is the same company.  I know in store, you can really tell how close it is.  I like West Elm too but not Jill's style.
• Restoration Hardware.
• RH looks nothing like Anthropologie, or vintagey hip.
• Jill, If you google Shabby Chic, by Rachel Atwell, there are half a dozen sites with her stuff.  Go look it over.GL
• Weird..I was just using Stumbleupon, not even trying to find furniture and this site popped up.  I like it, but the stuff might be more modern that what you're looking for.http://www.inmod.com/
• yeah, so far none of these is what i had in mind. i do know about urban outfitters being owned by anthropologie - i used to work for anthropologie. gah, didn't realize it would be so difficult to find more ideas.
• Maybe look at some home decor blogs that have the vintagey hip vibe youre looking for, and see what retailers the products in the pics come from?
• CB2 Also, what sort of stuff are you looking for? It's a shot in the dark, but my company has some inventory we are desperate to eliminate (we build to order, so we warehouse nothing, and we have some stuff with metal frames that we had to store and we now want rid of). Occasional tables and chairs are what I have, if you want to see. revans at hbf dot com.
