kzsnyder - stencling paper table cloths

hey!so, i'm sorry for being such a slacker in regards to your tablecloth question!!! :)if you go to www.solasphotography.com and go under "customer log in", then go to weddings, and go to "Emily/James".  The password is ej123 and you will see pics of my tablecloths/table settings :) They were incredibly easy to make and i just bought a bunch of paper cloths (i bought a case online, and then bought extras at walmart) and then I found a stencil online that was a peacock feather (in keeping with my mild theme of peacock colors)... I just used house paint (seriously!!) and did a light coat of paint in each stencil and that's how they turned out!hope that helps!:)em

Emthewondergirl- 2 things: 1. How did you like Solas Photography?I am considering them as our photag? One of my concerns if efficiency. I would like to get through pictures as quick as possible, while still having beautiful pictures to show for it. 2. Where did you get your shoes? They are so cute and I have been looking all over for blue closed toe shoes. Thanks for the help!

Hey swing! :)so, first question:Solas Photography -- LOVE THEM! I can't say enough about them, honestly! They completely work with you and go with any direction you need.  I would say that our pics (the posed stuff after the ceremony) was probably about an hour's worth, but I had some specific ones that I really wanted to be shot and they also had some ideas too.  I had originally planned for about 45 minutes of posed stuff (during our cocktail time after the ceremony), but it just went a bit longer, which was fine with our guests and venue.  But, you could always plan for time before the ceremony, or however you'd like it to be.  I really think Solas is a TERRIFIC value - they are SO nice, super easy to work with, very professional, and take GREAT photos! :) I have spoken with other brides and brides-to-be, and I really believe for that all they give you and how awesome their pics are, they are a fantastic value! :) My shoes -- I got them at Deb! What size are you? b/c i want to sell them! email me at emthewondergirl@aol.com if you'd be interested! I also have them in hot pink (I couldn't decide which ones I wanted to wear!) :)HTH!:)Em

Wow that turned out REALLY great!!! and where did you get the table cloths from??? like what brand

oh man.. i totally don't remember the brand! I know I did a google search for "round paper tablecloths" because when i went to Party City to buy them, the woman who worked there told me that they didn't make round, paper tablecloths -- only rectangle/square ones.  So, I got mad and did a google search! lol! I found a place that sold them in bulk, and i bought a "case" of 12 for like $25ish.  Then, when I found out we were having more tables than I accounted for, I freaked out because I didn't want to buy another case of 12, so coincidentaly, I was at walmart and saw some! I don't think they had them at the one in Ephrata, but the one in Lancaster (lincoln hwy) has them in the front of the store where they have all their wedding supplies.  They were a little more per piece buying them that way, but still only like $3ish per tablecloth.  They were super-easy to make and I thought a much more affordable option compared to the tablecloth rental issue.  Plus, it worked with our outdoor wedding and the vibe we had going on :)HTH!
