Just wondering what everyone's take is on this subject: When is the best time to solder your Engagement Ring to your Wedding Ring? Should you solder them together? Did you do it? My FI wants to do it before the wedding so when he puts the wedding band on they will be together already BUT I'd like to have be separate for a little bit and see how I like it. I think maybe sometimes I'll just want to wear the band without the big ring and this gives me that option BUT he says he custom made them to match and he wants them soldered. Thoughts....

    I like mine seperate! there are days when i just want to wear the band and not the engagment ring.

    My ring is unique. My wedding band slides into my engagement ring. So it looks like it is three bands. My engage ring has 2 outter lines of diamonds and then the middle is missing and my wedding ring fits in the middle. I have to hand it to my Fi he put some thought into this ring. But if I had to decided I would keep them seperate so I can can wear them spperate if i wanted, like if I was going to the gym.

    I didn't get my soldered, but they aren't really a set either.

    I'm not going to get my soldered. I like the idea of wearing both rings, instead of one big ring.
