hey ladies, I'm attending a quincenera for my FI's cousin next weekend, and I'm going alone, he'll be out of town. I have never been to one before, what should I wear? What should I expect? tia.

    It really depends on the family but they tend to be on the formal side. So I would dress like you would for a wedding. It also depends on the venue so that might give you a good idea of what to wear. If its at someones house then casual is fine but most that I have been to or heard of are usually at banquet type places.

    Quince's are like mini weddings so wear what you would to a wedding.  I would suggest a sundress or any nice dress you may have.  A nice pair of slacks and top would work as well.

    I went to one not that long ago. I wore a bright floral sun dress, but since it was a tube top, I bought a cute matching shawl to go with it to cover up a little. I saw some people more casual and some people more dressed up. Its always respectful to dress nice to quinces or wedding because people spend so much money on them.
