Seeking Hilton Head Help

I am from Detroit and will be getting married in HHI in Oct 10'. I am wanting to have a beach wedding and reception behind a rental home. I am having about 25-30 guests. A few of the places that I have looked at renting are in the Singleton Beach area. Is anyone familiar with the area or know if it is pretty? The homes I am looking at are right on the beach. It appears to be kind of secluded from the resort area. I thought this might make the beach a bit more private for the Ceremony. I am using Celebration events for my catering but was wondering if anyone has ever gotten a weding cake from Publix they look nice online and I am looking for areas to save.

    We just got married last month at Palmetto Dunes on HHI. We got our cake from Publix and it was fantastic! We had 3 tiers with different fillings and we had several guests inform us that they tried all 3 which was a good thing since our cake served more people that we had at the reception. You can't go wrong with Publix cake. We bought some white chocolate sea shells from island fudge for our cake decoration and it was fantastic and for $20 (for the chocolate) it was a steal. We even bought our welcome party food from Publix and it was out of this world. I can't say enough good things about Publix Deli/Bakery.

    Thanks I appreciate the help. Planning a wedding from afar is harder than I thought. I am coming to visit in a few weeks and can't wait.
