What the heck? If you went to the bridal expo at Dulles, did you get a phone call saying you won three gifts and you were one of the 5% of registration numbers they pulled? And you have to call back immediately to hear what the offer is? So here's what she said....you make an appointment for tomorrow night or saturday (12, 3 or 6) to visit with a representative from their company at the Holiday Inn Ballston. There's no obligation to buy anything. You get a free trip--two nights, three days to lots of locations...she kept saying no strings attached. But--you have to go meet with this person so they can talk to you about how to book it (I was like--why can't you tell me on the phone) and then they cook you something with their cookware. You're there for an hour to an hour and a half, and your fiance must be wife you. Anyone else get this call?? Is it a scam....please advise. (they're based in Long Island--I know by the area code from the call)Ugh to bridal shows!! Beware if you've never gone....I attended the bridal show and my inbox now has an influx of vendors that got my email off the registration card. Ugh.
