Hi ladies,We opted to provide our own alcohol for our reception, which is located in Mt Vernon/ Downtown Baltimore City.If you bought your own liquor for the reception- Who have you used/ where have you gone to buy your liquor?  Was there a delivery fee?  Did the store buy back unused/unopened alcohol? Thanks!

Corridor wine in Laurel, MD.  It's a huge warehouse w/ every type of wine you could want.  And the prices are really good too.  Beer/wine tends to be cheaper than other stores - hard liquor is slightly cheaper or = to other stores.  They do free wine tastings on Fri and Sat, I think.  We bought ours and brought it to the reception, so no delivery issues.  You can return upopened, undamaged bottles of wine / cases of beer for a refund.  If you sign up for their emails, they usually send out coupons http://www.wineaccess.com/store/corridorwine
Holy Crap. We survived the first year!

I haven't figured out where I am going to use yet, but I'm definitely going to talk with the Wine Source in Hampden--great store and they are used to doing this: http://www.the-wine-source.com/party.htm

We had our wedding in downtown Baltimore and had to order our own alcohol.  On a recommendation, we used Wells Discount Liquors (http://www.wellswine.com/).  Everyone there was really helpful and knowledgeable, and did their best to suggest wines and liquors and mixers to keep us within our budget.  I can't find my invoice, but I remember that the delivery fee was negligible.  They do give you case discounts.  They will buy back unused/unopened alcohol, but for a 10% restocking fee.
