That is so sad and it makes me want to stab them. There are so many people that want a family and can't have it. That poor baby didn't have a chance.

Oh that just makes me so f*cking angry. Why the hell wouldn't you just leave the baby at the hospital. They are going to get the sh*t beat out of them in jail. There is definately a prison hierarchy, and child killers are down at the bottom with child molesters.

It's terrble. There are so many people out there who try and try to get pregnant/have a family and people are just essentially throwing their babies away. It's sickening, poor little guy.

When they found the baby he was conscious and making noise, but I guess he quickly deteriorated. It is so sad. I really think there is a special place in Hell for people like this. Neither DNA donor has shown any remorse.

I'll say it again - at least both of the parents are over 18 and can be charged as adults. Only now, it will be for murder, or manslaughter and hopefully they will go away for a very long time (or at least long enough for something to happen to them in jail)

It just makes me wonder when this happens, did they not know about the Safe Haven law? Did they not know they could just drop the baby off at the hospital or fire department and not get into trouble? I feel like everyone knows about those laws, but I'm sure not enough people do or they just don't trust it.

I must have missed the other thread but its so sad!If they said the baby was "making noises" instead of crying, that probably meant it wasn't crying. So maybe that was a sign something was wrong.So so sad.

I think they probably didn't know about the Safe Haven law- I wonder if the people it was written for are the ones who have the least awareness (teen moms, etc), but like I said yesterday, adoption is an option everyone knows about. I just don't understand people like this at.all.

I'm can see them being young and scared and doing something stupid in the moment (not an excuse, but it happens). But, for the mother to LIE about where she had the baby and then the father to casually walk out an retrieve the baby is hard for me to understand.

This is such a sad ending for that baby!I wonder why the mother would say initially that the baby was in a different location? If she had the baby at the father's house without medical staff present, could there have been complications with the delivery that would have put her in a state of confusion?

Why not give a baby up for adoption, there are so many people that want babies and can't have them. I know it is harder for older children, but this was a baby and had a good chance of finding someone that would care for him.

That stupid whore went to the damn hospital herself...why didn't she just take the baby with her rather than having her loser criminal boyfriend put him in a storm drain? I HATE them.

I'm thinking he told her he was going outside to put him in the trash, and he probably happened upon the storm drain first and thought it'd be easier to hide the baby there. Again, I am baffled that two people don't mind rutting but don't want to deal with the consequences. Also, how can you carry a baby for nine months knowing you're just going to kill it once it's born?
