Texas-Dallas and Ft. Worth

Bridal Salons

Hey Ladies,    My mom and I are meeting in Fort Worth to do some wedding dress shopping next weekend. I have found a dress at Ocones in Fort Worth but wanted to check other stores to make sure its the one. We are willing to go into Dallas and wanted to get yalls suggestions. My budget is between $2000-4000. Also I was thinking about going to LuLu's or Stardust. Any reviews on these places? Thanks in advance!

I went to LuLu's.  Had a good experience.  I almost bought a dress from there (sample sale) but decided against it because I had my eyes on another dress at Lewisville Bridal.

I have a friend who bought her dress at Circle Park Bridal.  She loved the place.  I haven't started dress shopping yet, so this post is super helpful!

Terry Costa and Lewisville Bridal are my recomendations - I've never been to Stardust or LuLu's. I will tell you my mom had a bad experience with mockingbird bridal so I would't advise going there based off that.

I had another friend also tell me not to go to mockingbird. She said the staff was really rude to her.

I'd second Lulu's.  Also Patsy's Bridal Boutique in Highland Park.

I just got back from Lulu's not too long ago. My budget was about 1500 for a dress and I found one for $900. They're doing a trunk show this weekend so you should stop by. 10% off Pronovious gowns. I like Priscilla of Boston b/c I like all their dresses, although, one of the ladies is pretty rude there. (I forget her name). And a tip to any other brides who are looking for dresses. I went to Lulu's, found a dress I loved, and called around other stores to see if they carried the same dress. I was able to find a place cheaper than Lulu's... but not by much ($100) so I would assume Lulu's prices their gowns pretty well. And I recommend that if you're on a budget, you should call around other salons to see if they carry the same dress but less expensive. Good luck! Let me know how everything goes. I still have some time to look for my dress so I'm still looking for my dress and need advice :)

I went to Stardust and LuLu's.  I liked Stardust better as they have such a great selection, but LuLu's was good too.  We were able to take pictures at both places which was really nice.  Happy shopping!

Definitely try Terry Costa and Circle Park Bridal. Those were my 2 favorite places I went dress shopping.

I've had 2 years to plan by wedding resulting in TONS of trips to bridal salons (it was fun!!) Priscilla of Boston: I thought this would be way out of budget but ended up getting my dress from them!! Most dresses are in range of $1500 to 4,000. The best service by far from any location!!!! Allows you to take pictures in the dresses. Lulus: lower end pricing, fabulous dresses and service!! BUT Go when they open and try to go on a week day- they are very busy on weekends and make an appointment. Mockingbird Bridal: Same dresses as Lulus. Terrible service!! I've been twice, made an appointment both times, but each time they over booked their staff so I had to share someone to help me... also they wont allow you to take pictures in the dresses unless you buy the dress. Stardust: Very stuffy. They were not very helpful and their dresses are VERY EXPENSIVE 4,000+ Patsy's Bridal: WONDERFUL SERVICE. Upper end dresses 2,000-4,000. Beautiful spection. Terry Costa: Not the greatest selection. They also didn't wait on me hand and foot (I know that is a luxury but Patsy's and Priscilla of Boston did so I was very spoiled by this point of looking!)...

Check out Circle Park Bridal in Addison! They rock! Seriously, they are super helpful and have a wonderful assortment of bridal dresses, veils, bachelorette hats and jewelry. You will love it!

I'll put in my plug for Patsy's. I got my dress there and they are amazing. Amanda is truly gifted at being a bridal consultant. They have a unique selection of gowns...most of which aren't available anywhere else in the metroplex. The service was truly one of a kind. I also had great experiences at Neiman Marcus downtown and Stanley Korshak. I had bad experiences at Stardust and Mockingbird Bridal.
