Engagement pictures at disney california adventure??

Hey ladies, FH and I are thinking of taking our e-pics at down town disney and disney's california adventure. Has anyone taken or know of anyone that has taken professional pictures here before? I've been trying to find out if we need some kind of permit but I haven't had any luck in finding an answer yet..? Any input or knowledge would be helpful. Thanks! :)

I don't think so, people take pictures all the time at Disneyland! But who knows? We have passes and go often and during the week when california adventure first opens it is practically empty and we were also thinking it would be fun doing it there...so many cool places to take pictures! Good luck!

I've seen many photo shoots there, but don't know about what's required. That's one of the locations we're considering with out photog. She's pretty good about sticking to the rules, so I can ask her and see what she knows. Great place for pics!

You don't need a permit (or we didn't anyway).  This should be a link to our e-pics. http://katyregnier.instaproofs.com/enterEvent.php?id=57802Password = valencia

Thanks for all your input ladies! I didn't think that we needed a permit, but I just had my doubts because since disney is so strict about many things I wouldn't have been surprised if we needed a permit of some sort. Thanks! :)

For those of you that did your engagement pics at Disneyland and California Adventure. Did you just pay for your photogs to get in and try to go at a less busy time so that there was minimal interuptions in the photography? My fiance and i have been trying to pick a place for our engagement pics and this seems like a great idea. Does anyone have any other ideas besides the beach? The wedding pics will be at a beach setting so we wanted something different.

We got lucky because our photographer has an annual pass.  They generally like to do the pictures right around dusk because that's when the light is best.  We did ours in June - it was busy, but definitely managable.

I've seen some great e-pics from down at the train station in San Juan Capistrano and the Orange Circle.

We just did ours at Disneyland last week.

I used to work there so I asked around about policy and whatnot. Tour Guides and/or Wedding Planning Cast Members start at $250/hour to have them take you around.

We had no problem whatsoever getting in and taking our photos. We took our photos all over Downtown Disney, Disneyland, and the Hollywood portion of DCA. Our photographer was AMAZING - I seriously cannot say enough good things about her.

She was super quick, knew exactly what she was doing, had great ideas, and was happy to take my suggestions as well. In other words, she was perfect for a Disney photoshoot with tons of other people around us.

She said our images will be up soon. I'm super excited to see them. And I would recommend her in a heartbeat!

    What a great idea!

FH and I have season passes. I might just grab my own camera and see if I can get some good shots of us at the park one day. I hope you get some good photos!
