Rehearsal/Hotel planning

So, I would like some advice for my wedding weekend schedule. First, we are getting married at a lodge about 45min-1 hr from where we and our parents live so we are planning on staying there the night of the wedding. We were also planning on staying there the night before which will also be our rehearsal dinner. My IL's have decided to have the rehearsal dinner near their house so I am trying to figure out if it would be better to just stay the night before at our place (which is close to rehearsal dinner) and just drive out the morning of or to drive out there after the rehearsal dinner. I am getting my hair/make-up done at the lodge and the wedding is at 2pm. And we have to have the rehearsal dinner the night before b/c a lot of our wedding party is coming from out of town. Thanks!

    For me it would depend on when the rehearsal dinner ends.  If I wasn't planning on going out afterwards or staying out real late, I would probably make the drive after the rehearsal and be at the venue the morning of.  Of course, I also like to stay up late and then sleep in as much as possible.  If you think you might want to save some money, then stay at your place the night before and you won't have to get the hotel room for an extra night.

    I'd go the night before so you can wake up on Saturday without feeling rushed. Your FI could come the next day, though.
