Tent Flooring

Is it worth shelling out the extra money to get flooring for the entire tent?  I'm worried the ground could be soggy if there's rain.

    IMO, no. Flooring is really expensive. How wet are you anticipating it being?  I got married in the middle of one of the rainiest summers Vermont has ever seen, and it was fine.  They came to put the tent up on Wednesday morning for a Saturday afternoon wedding, and there were no problems.  It rained every day the week before the wedding but the ground under the tent was completely dry. 
    We're currently on a 15 month trip around the world!

    Thanks for your input.  It's comforting to know that it rained before your wedding and the ground under the tent was fine.  I guess I can put that money towards something else :)

    I agree with not paying for the flooring...Our wedding reception will be tented, and while there will be a dance floor the rest will be grass.  But they put the tent up days before to make sure that the ground is completely dry for your reception.

    We only had a dance floor, the tables & chairs were on grass.  It rained for like two months straight before our wedding, but the grass was fine.  I'm glad I didn't pay extra for flooring.
