MB Bride

Has anyone used/using MB Bride. How are they on customer service, alterations, pricing etc? I have an appt in 2 weeks and just wanted to get a little familiar with them. Thanks in advance.

I got my dress there and so far I've loved the experience. They were super knowledgeable and helpful in trying on dresses and they made it really easy to call back and order my veil. They called me when everything came in and my dress is there waiting for me to come try it on! The alterations were included in the purchase price of my dress, although you can purchase a dress without the alterations (which covers almost everything except a bustle and major alterations). If you bring pictures of dresses you like they can pull the dresses or similar ones and even better, if you know the style numbers they'll find them, too.

I did not buy my dress here but I can speak to their level of customer service. My consultant Ashley was great. She had so much patience! I tried on so many dresses and she stayed with us until after the store closed in hopes of finding me a dress. We didn't even realize we were there after closing time for a while and then when we pointed it out she said she was not at all concerned. The other girls there did not seem phased either. I made an appt there for my bridesmaids. They have a really good selection. I would definitely recommend!

Like most places, there are bound to be both positive and negative experiences. I had two separate not-so-great experiences there. Once a few years ago with my sister's wedding dress (and my bridesmaid dress) and once about six months ago with potential bridesmaids' dresses for my wedding. I can PM you more info if you want.

I got my dress there and am actually headed there tonight for my 2nd fitting.

Just as Britt said above some people have negative and postive experiences. I had a negative experience when looking at dresses. They were so busy that the lady kinda left us and we waited forever to check in. As well when I was a BM in a wedding I was not very pleased with them. I know some who have had wonderful experince and i know others who have had negative too. Give it a shot and see for yourself.

I don't know about their consulting, but I had someone from their alterations department (a family friend) make adjustments to my dress, and she's fantastic... one of the best seamstresses that we know (and my mom's a good seamstress!).

I flew to Pittsburgh specifically for a Pronovias trunk show at MB Bride and when I got there, the dresses weren't delivered. My consultant (I can't remember her name..) and the Manager were very apologetic and were on the phone with the Pronovias Rep tring to find out where the dresses were. After we waited for over an hour, we decided to let my MOH try on BM dresses to kill time. Finally they couldn't track them down so we left. An hour later I got a call that the dresses arrived but I live an hour away. They promised to not only give me the discount for the trunk show but also offered several hundred dollars off a dress if I came back, so the morning I was flying back to FL I went there and picked out the perfect dress that I wouldn't have been able to afford otherwise. They were really wonderful and did everything they could to make up the inconvenience for me. I'm planning to get all my BM dresses and flower girl dresses there because of it. Also when my dress came in I happened to be in town, so I went to try it on again. The consultant, a different one than i had at first, was wonderful. Didn't rush me at all and helped me pick out earrings with it. I would definitely recommend!

I actually got my dress elsewhere but found my bridesmaids dresses at MB Bride.
I did not find the service to be great (considering I have worked in high end retail most of my life and know what it takes to give that experience and to go above and beyond)
They seemed like they were always too busy to help us every time we went in. AND they didn't have many customers that they were assisting, but just kind of hanging behind the desk area.
On the other hand, I love the selection and would recommend if you are looking for that one-of-a-kind item or for your bridemaids dresses. With, that being said, noone who is planning a wedding has that kind of time to search through EVERY SINGLE dress until you find the perfect one. They are the ones who work there and should know the styles they have and should be asking you questions to find out which dress of over 5,000 should work best for your wedding!
That they did not do for me, maybe they have for others. I mean you as the bride should be waited on, offered coffe or bottled water and be treated like the princess you really are!

I went there... Great consultant. I spent over 2.5 hours in alterations on two separate occasions and 1.5 another time. (I wasn't a crazy bride, the dress was hard to alter)... she wa s very kind the entire process. I actually got a refund because it took so long
