Poor FI - RSVPs

FI's side has been pretty bad about sending theirs back in. It was funny at first, but I think it's starting to get to him. None of his family has replied. Poor guy. We still have 2.5 weeks to go, so it will get better.

We're still waiting on seven people from FI family to respond and our RSVP date was over a week ago...

W have a lot of family that haven't sent their RSVP back. my godmother actually said she got the invite and then put it on the shelf without opening it because she knows when it is... I still want the RSVP back that way I have a total count! A lot of the extended family we were required to invite on fi side haven't replied yet but our rsvp date is Oct 1 so we still have time.

Same thing with my FI's family, except we are getting a few back and all have been checked as 'unable to attend'.

If it helps... the family on FIs father's side had only one couple reply yes, but then backed out last week saying they didn't have the funds to travel. FI is kinda hurt that the family we invited on his dad's side are not coming. I do feel bad, but lots of family from his mother's side will be coming (he is closer to mother's family than dad's).

The only family that has RSVP'd so far is FI's aunt&uncle. So, he's lucky. :P None of my family has responded either way yet, and I know at least two in my family can't make it - so there's no reason why they couldn't get a "No" response out earlier?? Next Friday is my deadline for RSVPs....

My RSVP date is on September 20 we have recieved 45 rsvp forms back from 136.
