Florist recommendations? Steer away froms?

Hi! :) Anyone have a florist they can recommend or tell me to steer clear of? Much appreciation!

Petals Lane in Roxborough is great. Brittany did an absolutely fantastic job, and had fantastic suggestions. I would recommend her for ANY occasion.

I am using Richard's in Morrisville. So far they have been great- giving me ideas, accomodating my budget, making mockups and sending me pics. I have not had my wedding yet though...

I loved the work Carl Alan did!  He is a great guy and his staff will work hard to capture your dream flowers.  If you book with him, he takes pictures of flower mock-ups so you can see what your flowers will look like on your big day.

Whimsical Welcomes are very popular on this board.  Leslie does beautiful, creative work and works with your budget.  She had lots of samples set up for me at our meeting plus many, many sketches of ideas.  I liked so many I had a hard time choosing. And her prices were hundreds of dollars less than the two other florists that I met with while I was getting more flowers.  You can see lots of her work on her blog and her website.  www.whimsicalwelcomes.com And she's on FB now too.  I've really enjoyed working with her so far.  All the personal attention I get has really helped me feel very little stress as far as flowers are concerned.

I used Whimsical Welcomes for my wedding and I can't say enough good things about Leslie.  She is really reliable, extremely nice, and makes you feel like your wedding is the only one she has.  She was my favorite vendor.  My flowers were beautiful and she is very budget friendly.  I highly recommend her.

odessa- Did you work with Precious Petals out of HV? There seem to be a few by that name. I met with Darlene, she owns a Precious Petals but hers is out of her home. Is this who you met with?

Yes...I met with Darlene at her home as well.......I really wish I hadn't....it was my one mistake with our wedding choices....I should have gone with Leslie when I had the chance....I wasted so much time trying to deal with Darlene that when I finally gave up on them Leslie was booked for my day....

If you aren't looking to spend a lot of money on flowers (like me!) I highly recommend London Creative Florist.  My flowers were beautiful.  I was a little skeptical using them (they work out of a warehouse that could use a good makeover and cleaning) But the end result was by far wonderful.. Feel free to check out pics in my bio!
