    --Ordered my veil off ebay on Friday for $15.99--I went with the chapel length on your advice, and I'm really excited about it! (see pics in bio for the great debate) --There is a cold front coming in today and I am excited for the chilly weather --I'm getting more excited about doing wedding stuff and we are going to take fun pics for our save-the-dates soon!

    Oh, and I heard the best marriage compromise story ever last week. I was talking to a recently married lady and it came up that I was Catholic. She said: "Oh, I was Catholic too! But my husband was Baptist and we knew that wouldn't work, so we both became Methodist" She was completely serious--and I really cant think of a better "middle ground" between the two religions.

    Steph, that's awesome!! What a great birthday present!!! :) I ran my first 10k race on Saturday and did a great job! We also met with our loan officer, so we have all of that squared away. We sent an ammendment back to the seller last night to get a few things fixed.  Hopefully, he'll agree to fixing the things we need fixed. And last but not least: Our first wedding anniversary was yesterday!  I still can't believe it's been a year.

    Mariah, it sounds like you guys are moving along nicely on your house.  We had a couple of things that needed to be fixed as well, and the seller agreed to fix them immediately, so hopefully you'll have a similar experience. And contrats on the 1 year anniversary!

    So this is totally from a sponsor perspective but.... I have a great group of senior class officers.  They have planned out their whole hallway for the decorating contest and their float for the parade.  I didn't go to their last meeting to see if they could get this done for themselves.  They did it!  Best part:  it doesn't require a lot of prep work for them (read "me") to do.

    I just picked my dress up. I'm in love all over again. That had to be the best $20 I've ever spent. It looks like the dress was made JUST for me. We are in the teens today. 19 days and counting.

    We put a deposit down on an apartment on Saturday so at least we won't be homeless newlyweds. My shower pictures turned out cute The Longhorns beat Tech on Saturday.

    This totally pulled me out of my bitchy mood...I looked at our registry today and we have had one thing bought! hahaha! I told david and he laughed at me lolaaannnddd my MoH finally got a dress!!!! No more stressing about *that* :D

    I picked my dress up from Becky yesterday : ) So excited!I also got to have dinner with a girl that I haven't seen since high school. She recently moved to Dallas, so we were able to reconnect, it was a lot of fun.

    My principal approved the script I want to do!  We'll be doing "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever"  I was afraid he wouldn't allow it because it has a lot of the Christmas story from the Bible and that could get us both in trouble if a non Christian parent gets their shorts in a knot.  And I AW'd this already, but today is our 6 month anniversary.  I can't believe it!  With selling our old houses, closing on the new house and school starting the time has flown by!

    I had my first interview today for PA school and surprisingly I wasn't as nervous as I thought I would be. The second interview was harder than the first because it was with the director but hopefully I wow'd them and will get in!
