Yeah, funny story. So I'm prepping the guestroom to be painted and take a nail out, along with it comes a strip of paint. Underneath the paint I find wallpaper, and the paint is pealing off of it like saran wrap. OK, so we'll take the paint off, strip the wallpaper, and then paint. Nope, turns out there's water damage underneath the wallpaper, oh and 2 more layers of paint, then more wallpaper. The plan right now is to get down to the plaster where any cracks and water damage are so we can seal and patch, then paint. That sounds like a lot of work. Hopefully the other rooms will be easier.

Luckily that's the smallest room in the house, and Pete's friends will pretty much do any manual labor in exchange for beer. If this happens in any other rooms I think I'm just going to turn a blind eye.
