Father Daughter dance

My dad said he doesn't care what we dance to.  I really have no ideas.  Help!!!

    I like Wind Beneath My Wings, because my dad has always been my hero. I know, sappy.. but he chose My Little Girl by Tim Mcgraw and that is what we're going with!

    I used "Dream" by Priscilla Ahn.  It's the song at the end of Bride Wars (when they're both walking to their weddings and see each other on the way).  It's a beautiful song and meant a lot to me.  The lyrics at the end go like this: "I don't know what's left to say about this life I'm willing to leave. I lived it full and I lived it well, there's many tales I've lived to tell. I'm ready now, I'm ready now, I'm ready now to fly from the highest wing. I had a dream."  My parents always used to tell me to "fly", so it was meaningful for us.Melissa used "Daddy" by Kendall Payne, which is also a gorgeous song.HTH

    If my dad were still alive, I would probably choose "I loved her first" by Heartland or "You lift me up" by Josh Groban. I do love the Tim McGraw song as well.

    My dad is an awesome singer and he used to sing Billy Joel's "Just the Way You Are" to my mom. Now he likes to sing it whenever we do karaoke at family gatherings, and he does it so well! So that's our parent dance... Pretty sure we're not separating father/daughter, mother/son...

    "You Lift Me Up" was played at both my mother's parents' funerals. It's a great song, but now gives me the heebeegeebees. :(

    we used "Return to Pooh Corner" my dad used to sing it to me when i was little so it was pretty special, but kind of a fun song

    We're also using I Loved Her First. It was my dad's choice and his top two were that and My Little Girl by Tim McGraw
