You either need to call the 800 number (found online) for the ss office, have them mail you the application and then take it to your local ss office....or just go to the office and I think you can just do it all there.  I JUST got my new one in the mail :)Drivers license.....the application is online.  You can just print it.Passport....can't help there, sorry. It's all a much more tedius process than what I thought it was going to be.  It seems you can't do much of anything until you get the ss card and drivers license.  Everyone needs to see those.  Oh, and the ss office will need to see the ORIGINAL copy of the marriage certificate, with the raised seal.  They will not accept a copy.Hope this helps :)

I was really confused about changing my name before I did it but wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. You can go online and find out where the Harrisbug SS office is, and then just go. You may have to wait (i only waited like 15 mins at the Carlisle office) and they're only open from 8-4 M-F.  I filled out an application before hand but the guy didn't even need it. I just had to tell him my SSN and show him my marriage license.  At the end he gave me a paper that said i applied for a new card and it had my new name on it. I took that along with all my other name changing places but i didn't need it anywhere else. When you can go to the Penn Dot office in Harrisburg to get your license changed.  they will give you a form to fill out (you can probably find it online and do it ahead of time) and then they update your license for you.  I just got an update card and kept my old license. That was free, I think you can pay to get a whole new license. For the passport, you can mail in your original passport, 2 new pictures, an application, the fee ($75) and a certified copy of your marriage license (they'll send it back). It takes about 4-6 weeks to get your new passport.  I just did this about 2 weeks ago and I haven't gotten mine back yet.Sorry this is long, DH is watching football and I'm bored :-P

Hi- for your passport you can only change it within 1 year after you get it without paying the $100.00 fee again. You can get the form you need to fill out and the envelope at your post office. When I got my passport I mentioned that I was getting married and she gave me everything I needed to send it in after the honeymoon to get my name changed on it. I hope this helps.
