flower girls

Hey everyone, my mom told me the other night that the flower girl that i wanted is to old... i didnt think there was an age limit on that.... what are your thoughts on it?

    I think 12/13+ would be Jr. Bridesmaid age. My flower girls will be 5 and 8 at the time of the wedding.

    what does it matter what your mom things? if you want her as the FG-have it!btw-ours was 7 when we got married.

    she will be 10 when we have the wedding.... im going to have her as the flower girl anyway, but my mom made it sound like she was to old...

    There are no maximum age limits... in fact, some churches actually have age minimums.Traditionally, flower girls were usually little girls, so your mom might not be used to an older girl tossing flower petals. But it really doesn't matter these days.you know.... you could always ask the girl what she thinks. Maybe she would prefer being the flower girl... or maybe she would be more comfortable being a bridesmaid or junior bridesmaid.
