I don't know if I will, but Matt will get one and I'm sure Sebastian will too. We will pow wow about the h1n1 vax with our pediatrician at his upcoming 18 month (!!!!!) appt. But I don't think I would get one.

This poll just reminded me of one of the best in-law moments of the weekend.GMIL told us that the reason they're recommending the H1N1 vaccine for young people and not the elderly is becauce Obama is trying to kill them all off. We were in the middle of the store and MIL and I had to walk away so we could laugh in peace.In related news, this weekend has given me a newfound appreciation for my MIL. Now that she's getting more comfortable around me, she's a pretty cool lady.

yes yes yes I have asthma and it is recommended I get flu shots because of that. Anything that can compromise my lungs further is bad news for me. And I work in a healthcare type industry.

My midwife says I need to get both. Maggie already got her seasonal flu (she had it last year as well), I don't know what we'll do about the H1N1 for her. Our pedi was not helpful in advising us on this one.

I have to get them both because we have preemies. My work does supply the flu shot, but I will be out this year on leave while it's going on. I also have to get the Tdap.

No and no- I'm allergic to egg whites and can't have flu shots or I COULD DIE. Yes, the job hands them out like candy. you could probably get 3 or 4 and no one would notice or care.

Are you getting a flu shot? No, I have only had the shot once and that was also the only year I got the flu.What about the swine flu vaccine? No. I'm not really concerned. I take extra vitamin D at this time of year anyway, which naturally helps the immune system.Does your job supply the flu shot for you? Yes, our insurance plan covers us getting the shot at any pharmacy or clinic, and there will be nurses coming to all the schools.
