frustrated with The Knot

I've been trying for two days to use this site and getting more and more frustrated. The save to notebook feature does not work, the request more info feature does not work, some of the links to discussion boards do not work. And of course there is no where in these boards for website help!

Sent an email to the Knot asking for help, got an email back saying, we tested your site it works fine...ah, no, it does not!

Anyone know of a better site that actually works and does not frustrate users?

Sorry you're so frustrated with the new format. It's hard when switching to new technology and IT definitely has their hands full with the switch. I feel like the new boards messed up a lot of the site's features, unfortunately.

We cant "watch" treads anymore either, which completely throws me for a loop when tracking a convo.

And I know it's been said a million times, but I cannot stand how slow it is. I only log on maybe once a week... when I'm sitting in front of the TV and have time to wait for each screen to log.

I tried switching to FireFox - which helped - but then I got a virus and my laptop crashed. DH was so not thrilled to have to reload my entire system so now I'm too afraid to load new software :-( So I'm stuck with IE.

CCBelle - have you tried viewing the forums through http://forums.weddings.com/Sites/Weddings/Pages/Main.aspx/local-wedding-boards_massachusetts-boston instead of via theknot's main page?

I too have trouble with loading, and I emailed them too without any help. The whole TV thing at the top which I have to continually "collapse" really slows the website down too. And I can't seem to get the search feature to work properly for me. Hopefully they will work out some of these kinks soon!

But that solves the issue with the Boston board, but how do I access the othere (like P&E) the same way?

I have to agree with pps with the slowness. I don't come here as often as I used to anymore and I am sad because I like TK forums. I do like the new features, but I miss the speed of the old format.
