I don't see her reviewed much on this board, but I wanted to share that I did meet with her when I was looking for florists, but I found someone else for 1/2 the price I was quoted at Elizabeth Wray.  I thought it would be important to point out that my biggest reason for not going with them is that they wouldn't allow me to bring in my own things.  I wanted to shop for vases and whatever I could find at less expensive prices and add my own touch, but they wouldn't allow it. The reason I was given was that they're basically putting their brand on my wedding.  So really, if I chose to have some hideous vase in their eyes, it would reflect badly on their name.  My impression was that they weren't willing to be flexible and I need flexibility. But, meet with them at least and maybe you'll have a different experience.  All of the displays in the shop were very pretty and nicely done.

I met with them and they do really offer great flowers and arrangements. They do quite a few of the hotel arranagements in the area. They are def more high end...but they are one of the best in the area.

I heard that they are fabulous over there. However, VERY pricey/over-priced. I actually went with a florist that use to work for them for years, I was told. Then she left and started her own business right out of her home. Marla from Wallflower designs-info in BIO. She costs about HALF of E.W. and does just as great....

When searching for a florist for our daughter's wedding I contacted Elizabeth Wray and found them very expensive with somewhat of an attitude. I did most of the research and recommended vendors to my daughter. We ended up with George Mattingly at Phillip's Flowers Design Center on Cass Avenue in Westmont. I'm going to submit reviews later (unlike me, my daughter has no interest in anything online wedding...lol). I used George for my husbands business association formal dinner/dance and he did a wonderful job. My daughter wasn't sure what she wanted and after meeting with George, he was able to design her bouquets, tall and low reception table centerpieces and she fell in love with everything! The wedding flowers were fresh, huge, and absolutley gorgeous for a fall wedding. George was helpful, insightful, patient and most of all fun to work with! We rec'd so many compliments on flowers from everyone. Once again, my husband and I will using George at Phillip's for his annual formal dinner dance in February. Good luck with your choices...this is a fun time for planning!

That's interesting about Phillip's.  Even though they are a chain, I wonder if they are independantly operated and price things separately from one store to the next.  Aside from Elizabeth Wray giving me ONE of my higher quotes, I got my highest quote from Phillip's in Wheaton near Danada.  They quoted me $6800 for what I wanted!! And to think I got the same stuff for $2700 elsewhere.  Isn't that crazy how it differs?  I found flowers to be the hardest vendor to search for, prices were all over the place.

I used Elizabeth for my wedding and I would recommend her to anyone.  While she was priced high, the quality of her work was impeccable.  I had a winter wedding, which didn't offer the green backdrop of a summer wedding(though we did have gorgeous snow).  But, she did exactly what we were looking for.  I told her what I liked and she took everything I said and ran with it.  My centerpieces were exactly something I could have imagined but never had the design to say.  In regards to bringing your own stuff, I guess that was never an issue for me.  I didn't really have a use to buy 20 vases or what not and no interest in selling them back so "renting" from her was just fine.  She transformed our space and just about every single person commented on how beautiful not only the centerpieces, but the other decorations and designs were (she also does lighting, etc).  I have another friend who used her as well and it was gorgeous. She also did some beautiful centerpieces at my parents house for when people were here for brunch and everything that weren't the same as the wedding, but incorporated the same ideas.  Overall, it was beyond classy and well worth the expense to us.

My wedding is this month and we are using Elizabeth Wray.  I know her work and reviews are amazing so I definitely wanted to use her for our decor.  As you may have heard she is expensive!  She also has a driver personality which can be great in getting things done but also tough when you are arguing over what you think is best and what she thinks is best.  If you have the money and the balls she is the best.  In the end I feel very confident my wedding will be amazing! I'll let you know :)
