B-pics

Just got teasers from my boudoir shoot this weekend and they are so fun! I can't stop looking at them :-) Taking the pics was such a blast!! If you are thinking about doing a boudoir shoot I would definitely recommend it. I did them with Meghan Lynn Photography and Nichole H. did the makeup, which was amazing and made me feel so glamorous. I really can't wait to see the rest of them. Not going to post on here...but I will email some of the G rated ones if anyone is interested in seeing their work!

I second everything that ruffian said :-)(I did mine on Sunday too!) I can't stop opening the email to look at my previews either, which is not such a good idea since I'm at work!  But they are so fun, I can't wait to get the rest!!  I am still amazed by the makeup.

I actually never heard of B-Pics until I met with Jenni from forever-yesterday.  Is this something a lot of people do?  I like the idea of it and I am now considering it.  I would just have to feel comfortable with the photographer.  Also, I would be a little nervous that someone, somehow, would see the pictures - i worry about EVERYTHING, lol! Do you mind me asking how much they cost? Just trying to get a general idea of the price range.Where are they usually taken out? When are they usually taken? (Closer to the wedding, etc)?Like I said, this is all new to me. Any info. would help me out. Thanks!I would like to see the pics as well - ajerome21@aol.com

I'm really glad that I did them!  Here's some info...Do you mind me asking how much they cost? Just trying to get a general idea of the price range.  Depends on the photographer, $100-$500 is probably a general range.Where are they usually taken out?  Anywhere you want really, a hotel room (you'd pay for the room), a studio, a bedroom, etc. When are they usually taken? (Closer to the wedding, etc)?  Your preference, it seems like a lot of people do albums as a wedding gift or a first anniversary gift.

Cost definitely varies, Meghan Lynn was offering great rates because she is just starting to take these types of pics (around $100 including digital images) but I think going rates are often like 200-400. She also did them in her house, which saves the cost of a hotel (but that seems to be a popular option too). We took pics in her guest bedroom and a few on her roof deck ;-) I plan to get an album for FI's birthday! About to email a few faves to those of you who requested!!

roofdeck - sounds cool. also, nice to save on the hotel.i love jenni though. i can really see my self being very comfortable with her.  she does have really good rates!  i would probably do it as a wedding gift. so when would i give it to him.  before the wedding, wedding night, on the honeymoon?

I'm planning on using Jenni for mine, too. Our wedding is 7/16/10 and I think I'm going to do them after Christmas/New Years, no rush. I'll probably have Jenni make the album, too. I'm going to give them to FI on our wedding day as part of his wedding present.

We're going to be getting ready at the hotel the morning of the wedding (in separate rooms), and I'm going to send my MOH over to give him his gifts (I'll prob get him like tix to a Ravens game as well or something nice), and I'm going to have the album wrapped with a tag saying "don't open until the wedding night" or something cheesy like that lol. We are going with Jenni! Engagement pics on October 24th! So excited!
