I'll play. - We will be registering for camping equipment. I don't know if that's unusual or not. FI is trying to convince me that we should register for a playstation 3. - I am looking forward to getting really nice cooking stuff.

I wanted to register for our honeymoon because my FI and I have an established household. My mom didn't think it would be a good idea though so we went with the typical registry stuff. I am really excited about the dishes I registered for! Corrine: You can play! Tell us what you want to register for!

Everything we did was pretty standard, except we did fun party things like an umbrella and hammock for outside, yard games like washer toss and bean bag toss... We were really hoping for the stainless steel rolling cooler for outside. All of my cousins ended up getting it for us, which was awesome.Nothing else we really wanted, since we've been living together for 2 years.

Ok, you twisted my arm... I know I for sure want a Dyson! And a nice knife set. Aside from that we'll probably put the usual stuff on the registry. Dishes, china, Kitchenaid mixer

, utensils, towels. Plus we're getting ready to move so anything we can find to help with our remodeling would be awesome! We're going to try and register at Home Depot for some outdoor lawn care stuff, a grill, and anything else FI can find. FI best friend got married back in December and they registered for a Playstation 3, Xbox 360, 2 iPods, a bunch of video games...you could tell he had the scanner! She was p!ssed! I don't see the point of registering for those kinds of items. To me they're not really essential items, but to each their own I suppose!

Don't laugh! I have to use the shamwow on my dog after I give him a bath! He's allergic to cotton- no seriously, he's been to the dermatologist and everything- so if I try to dry him off with a regular towel, he breaks out into hives!

I don't have a registry yet but I have already started making a list of some things that I definitely want to add that I might not naturally think of when we are there... GOOD peppermill, Salad Spinner, a really good blender, the beater blade for my KA mixer, a good meat thermometer, lots of cooking utensils (and I will throw away all the crappy ones we have right now). I know there's more on my list that I can't think of.I will not be registering for china, crystal or silver. We aren't 'fancy' people and I don't think we would use any of those items all that often. Plus, I have my mom's sets of all of the above so in the event that we do need to use something, I've got it covered.

I haven't started yet, but I found out FI is already working on one from BBB...I think all he's registered for so far is dishes and a beer dispensing machine.. When the time comes to add things, I would like to register for things with color in mind. Nearly everything in our apartment is chocolate brown!

Kim, we didn't register for fine china or silver either. We know we'd never use them. We did, however, register for some fun red plates that we will use for special occasions. I'm a little nervous though because the plates have been somewhat hard to find at Target stores so I don't know that we'll get them all.

*Fingers crossed*Most of our registry is standard stuff. Would a pet SpotBot be considered unusual/atypical? LOL!As for lusting after...Brian has his fingers and toes crossed that we get the 6qt. KA mixer he registered for. He's been drooling over it for a while.

We registered for BBQ tools that we really wanted, but they went out of season really quick.

We really just wanted new pots and pans. Ours are a mish-mash from college (and our median age is 30) so we were looking forward to having a matched set. I wish we had taken more time selecting our china. We love entertaining, and I know we will use it. But I'm really considering returning it all when the wedding is done and getting a pattern we both like. That's such a hassle, but if we're going to have it, I want something we'll love!

FI got me a snuggie for my birthday, as a joke, but I'm secretly excited to use it...I have no shame lol. Taryn, I say register for the spot bot! First of all, I freakin love that machine more than I probably should. But, it's a "vacuum like" device and a vacuum is a normal registry item so I say go for it.

We did the usual stuff, but taking DH with me was like pulling teeth! Everything I wanted to put on the registry, DH didn't think it was necessary until I pointed out what we would use it for. Besides, I do most of the cooking anyway. We did register for silverware (since neither one us liked each others set - we ended up donating them to someone who needs them) & my MIL, SIL, niece and a neighbor bought us our fine china and I love it. We actually have used it since we got it last year. I really wanted the KA mixer but no one got it for us. Since DH & I were unemployed at the time we got married, we got money instead so right now whatever is still left on the registry is still there.

I don't think we put anything too unusual. I was really excited for our china and bedding. I can't think of anything I wish we had added, except we did forgot kitchen wash cloths. But, that's it! Oh wait, a little PSA: Martha Stewart kitchen towels suck!!! After one wash they pilled and looked terrible. I hate them ;-(

We registered for a lot of the typical, but a couple things that were a little splurge that we actually got were the Margaritaville maker...the really nice $350 one. We also got this electric wine chiller thing that cools your wine down instead of having to put it in the freezer. Everything else was pretty standard.

Our registry is pretty much the standard registry. I am super excited for all of the kitchen items!! The FI bought me the first gift off the registry for our "dating" anniversary. It is a beautiful glass cake stand!! Yay!! The next favorite item would have to be the Kitchen Aide Mixer!!

I can't even remember what we put on the registry. I only created the registry in case someone asks, but so far, no one has. We're hoping that everyone will just gift cash, since I'll be moving to England with FI. None of the electrical stuff would work & I really don't need to be carrying more stuff across the ocean. But we did register with Amazon UK. That was the only way I could think of that people could buy us gifts here & have them sent straight to the UK. There are lots of things that I would love to have, especially since we're getting a new house, but I think the top of my list would be a great set of pots & pans.

I want to register for a Dyson, a digital camera, new/better dishes, and new/better cookware and bakeware. We will also probably register for some nice picture frames and home decor stuff. FI and I will make a more complete list when we actually get ready to register, but those are some top priorities.

IDK about unusual...DH registered for stuff at Sears. I don't know the proper names for the stuff though. lol Just about everything was the usual stuff. We got a gazebo for our yard, which is pretty cool. I guess that is one thing I was excited for. I wish I hadn't registered for a panini grill or ice cream maker. They've been in the boxes for almost 2 yrs and never used! I wish we would've registered for a Dyson. I bought one a few months ago and I absolutely LOVE it.

I agree, especially w/ a dog that sheds a lot. I think I actually enjoy vacuuming because of the Dyson. lol
