Okay eveyone--here are my vendor reviews! These people helped me pull everything together with very little time! Photographer--Caitlin's Creations--A++ She has been a joy to work with and she and her assistant did such a great job a wrangling together all the people after the ceremony for photos. I am beyond pleased with all her work! Venue--Botanical Gardens: A- and they get a minus just because of the many restrictions on who can cater, who can provide rental furniture etc. But the scenery was gorgeous and I was able to save a ton of money of flowers by picking this venue. San Antonio Weather--A: No rain, not too hot, not too humid:) DJ--Doc J (Jonathan Harper) A: Jonathan was professional and played everthing we asked for. He got my guests dancing!!!! Officiant--Judith Harper A+: She really did a lot to help with the planning, she does extras such as flowers and makes jewelry too. She made a beautiful book for us with the entire script of her blessings, our vows etc. for us to keep forever! Catering--Fresh Horizons Creative Catering A++: The food was the hit of the evening! Everyone, inlucding myself loved the food. The servers were so great and Kathe and Amber helped so much with coordinating the whole event since I didn't have a coordinator. They truly went above and beyond, setting up my place cards, guestbook, favor cards, centerpieces etc. Cake--Erin McQueen A+: My co-worker baked both my cake and the groom's cake. She did an amazing job and is willing to take on more jobs if anyone needs her contact info. I will post pics of the cakes later, but lets just say she did a "Manchester United" groomscake complete with their intricate seal. Flowers--Etsy Seller Petalsandpaws A+: I ordered all my bouquets online from petalsandpaws and she gave me exactly what I wanted and all I had to do was tell her how much I wanted to spend and she made it happen! Ceremony Musician--Keith Kubena A+: He was professional, his music is BEAUTIFUL and he even accomodated my special request to have the Beatles "All You Need Is Love" played as we exited the ceremony. Hotel Room--Omni La Mansion Del Rio A++: They upgraded my room at no extra charge, they decorated our room with flower petals sand champagne and chocolate covered strawberris at no extra charge, we had an awesome view of the river...I couldn't have asked for more from a hotel. They gave me and FI the VIP treatment (at no extra cost I should remind you). LAST BUT NOT LEAST---My Beauty Team! Versi Salon--A++: Johanna the Makeup Maven is my hero! She did such an amazing job, I felt so beautiful and got tons of compliments. She will do anything for her brides! Bess did my hair and she really did a great job. She pinned all my curls up so they wouldn't lose their curl before the wedding and she explained to all my girls how to take the curls out without ruining my 'do. My bridesmaids all looked stunning and the atmosphere of the salon is great! I know, nobody even made less than an A- on anything, but everyone was so great!
