NWR: Breckenridge

I hope you can help.  My husband and I are thinking of doing a long weekend this fall in Breckenridge, however we've never been there.  Can someone recommend a place to stay?  Preferably within walking distance to the town or somewhere kind of close.  TIA, ladies!

We used Breckenridge lodging and hospitality for our wedding. All of the units are individually owned, so none are the same... The Hotel at Breckenridge is an actual hotel a block off main st and is very nice.

Tiger Run RV Resort has these really cute "mountain chalets" for rent. They're little log cabins and they're all different. They're bigger than a hotel room, have full kitchen, bathroom and usually have a loft in addition to the bedrooms. I actually lived in one when I lived in Breck a couple years ago. There's a bus stop right by Tiger Run that takes you into town as well.

We have had success using Vacation Rentals by Owner (vrbo.com).  They have everything from studio condos to 8,000 sq ft houses.

THey have some cute b&b's off of main street. I would look into those. We rented a house there last weekend for oktoberfest and it was awesome! Good Luck!
