Have you choosen a DJ? I was looking at California Sounds. Anyone met with them? What did you think? Is $750 for 4 hours a good price? Ive just began looking into this. Any suggestions? Thanks

    That is who we hired. Our wedding hasn't happened yet. But, I learned about them from these boards. Both Tom and Chris seem really great. They are very reasonable and everyone says that they are not cheesy. That is what we wanted.

    We hired John Suarez@ After Dark Entertainment. He seemed reasonably priced for our budget, well we considered him a steal :) We learned about him through the boards he is a knottie favorite. We did look into other DJ's but they were charging too high for us. We met John at one of his gigs answered all our questions, and then took the time to emails to let him know if he had any other questions to please not hesitate and ask. He has a package deal of 7hrs for $850 or 8hrs for $950. I dont remember the other packages since we wanted the highest packages. But you can go to his website and look and get a quote or email him. GL! HTH!

    Tom is awesome, and he is very reasonably priced. He did an excellent job on our wedding (review in wedding bio). Good luck!

    Tom Chandler was awesome at our wedding!  He took all our suggestions and the music turned out fantastic!  Even our photographer commented at one point "the music tonight is uncommonly tasteful".  They were down to earth and understated and the music was fantastic!  I highly reccomend them.  We paid more than $750 for an extra set up for the ceremony.  I thought it was high at first but that seems to be a good deal in the wedding DJ world.
