  You can ship to her, she'll steam the dress, and deliver to your hotel. Well worth it in my opinion. She is highly recommended by pretty much everyone on the board. 

  
  

  My dress was too poufy and I didn't want to carry it on the plane. Also, we had so much luggage already since we were gone 9 days. 

  
  

  Some hotels charge to recieve packages so you may want to check with the hotel you're staying at if you go that route.

  I carried my dress on the plane, but it wasn't poofy.  We actually had an empty seat in between us so we put it there, but the flight attendants said we could lay it across the top of the luggage in the overhead bins. After the wedding, my MOH's mom took the dress back on her flight home.
  
  Once we got to Vegas, I hung my dress up, it wasn't too wrinkled but I did have it steamed the day before the wedding just to make sure.  Took it it I&A Bridal and it was 4 hours to steam it for $55.
  
  No experience with Debi, she was really nice when I called for her prices, just found her to be little pricey.
  
  But Debi could work if you're not renting a car too.

  My wife purchased an extra seat on Southwest to carry her dress on with her since that gave her piece of mind that it was not being crushed by a truck in some UPS depot; it was also less expensive to do that compared to the insurance cost of shipping it, not that insurance would do anything for you when your dress is ruined two days before you get married lol.
  
  Anyway, we had Debi come pick up all the clothes for the whole wedding party, she brought them all back the next morning perfect; I felt the pricing was very reasonable considering all I did was get off the couch and let her in to pick up and drop off.  Many people ship their dress to her and then she delivers it back to the hotel.
  
  +1 on hotel receiving fees for packages; some of them really screw you on those.  MB charged me $25 to receive a UPS package.  If you're renting a car, and plan to be out and about anyway, you can often ship things to a UPS store and go pick up from them.

  I recommend Debi.
  
  There's no guarantee that there will be room in the overhead bins or a closet on the plane to store your dress. And people who take their skis and golf bags check them. They don't carry them on the plane with them.

  I shipped my dress from Rome (with all its ten feet long train) via FedEx to Debi. She held it for a month and delivered it pristine to the wedding salon the day before. When we arrived I asked her if she could also take care of hubby's suit. She picked it up within minutes and delivered it back the next day for $25. I think that's a great price. I don't remember exactly what I paid for my dress but i think it was around $100. It was so beautiful when I pulled it out of the garment bag, I wish I had pictures of it hanging but we haven't ordered them yet.

  I was told by my wedding dress shop to roll the dress and put it in my suitcase (which I will put in the overhead).  I plan to have it steamed when I get to town by Debi.
