    huh. i guess he wasn't the biggest ever (I just googled). There was a 23 lb baby in the 1800's, and a 22lbr in the 1950's.

    I buy it. Non-diabetics have 10 and 11 pounders - if they didn't induce her early, or do the C early, it would be very easy for a diabetic mother to have a 19 pounder. That's why gestational and regular diabetics in the US usually have their babies early - diabetes causes overgrowth of the babies. My BFF had GD, and they induced her almost a month early because of it.

    Holy Hell. I"m just imaging her stomach. How the hell does a kid that big fit in there?

    I can believe, but don't want to.  GD was the reason they induced me on my due date. For comparison 6let is just shy of 21 lbs.
