This Saturday

So does anyone know of anything going on, it was the original date that FI and I were supposed to get hitched before canceling. Were going to spend the day together and I think I want to do something like a festival or a museum or something cheesy like that. Lol..it's either that or I spend the day in bed wallowing in self pity with nothing but a bottle of vodka to keep me company.

the LA FAir is still open...you can drink and eat something fried:) yeah try not to make it such a big day in your head, otherwise it will be the worst day ever!! instead think how lucky that both of you made it together, as a couple, to this one day, with ALLLLL the obstacles you both faced this past year!! a lot of my friends broke up this year with their BF's that they had been with forever...but you made it:-) congrats!!!!

I was going to say the LA county fair! Couldnt get much more cheesy. The Getty is pretty awesome though and its air conditioned which the fair is not.

Yes, the Getty is definitely awesome!!!  If you are up for a drive I would say go have brunch at The Sunset restaurant in Malibu, it's tucked away and quiet and it's right on the beach with the most beautiful ocean view.http://www.thesunsetrestaurant.com/Then go to the Getty from there and explore!

hmmm, all good ideas, I also have to keep in mind that we are ridiculously dirt poor, so the less money to spend the better.

If you go to the fair between 10am and 1pm this weekend tickets are half price. The only problem with the fair is that food and rides can add up quickly. Last year I think I spent like $50 there The Getty is free. You just have to pay parking which I think is like $5 or $10

The Getty sounds really good, I haven't ever been there and I hear wonderful things.
