Dresses

I feel bad because I am sure someone has already asked this.  I want to know where you guys went to shop for your dress that was good.  And any tips I may need.  I need to know where in the LA/OC area.  I am in Torrance.  I looked at Yelp and only saw a couple.  Project Wedding too........

I'm going to jump in on your post because i would like to know the same thing. (I'm in Lomita right next to torrance) What i would like to know also is how do you find a place with dresses in your price range? Do you just call ahead and ask? How would i know if the place i show up to is way too pricey for my budget?

Well I can help somewhat with that.  If you go to yelp.com and put the name of the place you are considering it shows a price range at the top.  That may help a little.  But the reviews are scary!

I highly recommend Camarillo Bridal.  Nothing over $2,000 and they have great service!

I think that some knotties have used RK Bridal, and that might be close to you???

I bought my dress at Lili's in Tarzana.  Maria was wonderful to work with, and she must have put me in 20 dresses the first day I went trying dresses on with her.

Other knotties swear by Pebbles, but my saleslady told me I looked too fat in the style dress that I ended up in, and I'll admit that I thought I looked pretty slammin' in it!

Don't bother with any Marilynn's stores.  Snooty up the wazoo and they'll harass you over the phone for the next year!

I recommend going midweek if you can - I was the only person in the store at a couple salons!
