Boone Hall Cotton Dock

Hey I just looked at this place online after seeing that so many ppl were using it! Anyone have any info/pics that they can share? We're on a tight budget so hopefully it will be a place that I can add to my list of places to visit!!Thanks!

When I looked at it the cost was $2000 to rent. If you want the ceremony on the grounds as well it is another $2000 though there is a place on the cotton dock for a small wedding. It is a nice wooden barn like structure, but it doesn't come with any tables/chairs/linens/etc. Just the building. The place also books up crazy early. Even if you don't end up booking there it is still neat to look at and if you're looking at it for a wedding they don't charge you admission to the plantation. So if you have time, I'd do it,

also, your caterer will have to rent a portable kitchen if they don't have one(our Caterer, Royal Grand events had one).  So that's and extra $400.  We had our recepetion there, and it was soooo beautiful.  There are ways to save costs.  For instance, renting flatware would have cost 0.35 cents each, but we found we could purchase forks, knives and spoons for about 0.11 cents each.  Vistaprint is the awesomest thing since sliced bread.  You can  design and print free menu cards, favor tags...just be creative!  If you want to see some of the pics from my reception, you can go to julietelizabeth.com and under client proofs>wedding>nicole and craig.

Sorry for the delay!  Had to ask the hubs for the site.  I believe it was missionrs.com  It's a restaurant supply site :)  I was literally stunned that it was three times as expensive to rent flatware as it was to buy it!  I <3 the cotton docks!  Good luck!!
