So...I think I may have found the BM dresses....which I already forsee my mother complaining about because there is only one shoulder....I am debating between the navy and mink (brown), but was wondering what flowers would look good in the fall with Navy.....I originally had my heart set on brown, but the navy is starting to grow on me.... any suggestions??? I would do pink, yellow, white or champagne/cream. Red would also work, I think.

that's a beautiful dress. I love it! Colors to go with Navy: Pink (would be my choice), orange, yellow, green. Honestly ALOT will go with the navy.

Thanks for the suggestions...I was immediately drawn to that dress the first time I saw it...but continued looking because I know my mother will have some comment about it (my friends tell me that I need to learn to be a bridezilla...lol), but I keep getting drawn to that one. I want to see the colors in person to make the final decision on the brown or navy.

If your BMs try it on and love it, then just tell Mom, "The girls all adore it and I hate to tell them no." Then change the subject. Or give her a project to concentrate on and keep her out of your hair.

LOL.....Thanks for the ideas and suggestions....I never realized that navy could go with that much....good suggestion regarding my mom too....she can get to me sometimes...I dread the day that we go shopping for my dress...lol...I've already had nightmares.

Small sunflowers might look cool. I would go for a definite splash of bright color to offset the overall dark tones of the wedding party.

Such a cute dress! I could never wear it though, if you have any really busty girls they may not be able to fit into the top (at least I always have trouble with empire waistlines) Just something to think about.

Those flowers do look nice with it....I do have one very busty girl....and a couple of flat ones.....I feel the one shoulder will be better fitted to the top....I have been in several weddings and both straps tend to fall off of me and my sisters....no matter how much they tend to alter it...also...my MOH was MOH in her sister's wedding, where they wore strapless and the video needed major editing because her boobs came out several times while dancing and she had no idea... (although my FI noticed it and pointed it out to me twice...but I thought he was seeing things) LOL

My BM's dresses were navy (with an ivory sash) and we had pinks & greens and some whites/ivories thrown in. The main flowers were green cymbidium orchids, jade roses, pink roses, pink ranunculus, and ivory roses.

I actually chose chocolate brown originally, but FI wants navy so I changed it. My coordinating colors are light sage or apple green and orange. I plan to have the BMs carry green hydrangeas and my bouquet will be orange. The green really pops with the navy.
