Boudoir! Oh My!

I'm doing my boudoir session this coming Tuesday! It is a vintage/pin up girl themed shoot. I'm super excited but also really nervous.

Anyone else doing these? Anyone have any tips or suggestions? I have been exfoliating and mosturizing head to toe for the past 2 weeks, and I have been trying to drink a lot of water/watch my sodium.

What should I take to wear? Obviously my own undies, but other than that? I'm looking at my closet and freaking! They have "pin up girl-esque" clothes and shoes there in my size, so maybe they'll have something I like.

oooh I am on March 7!! (On my birthday!!)

I can't wait!! I bought my own stuff. (Went a little over board, but it'll be useful again, riht? lol) but also, the session is FREE! (cuz my photog and i have "swapped" services some lol I did some graphic design work for her)

I was going to, but decided that I'm going to wait and do them as a 1st wedding anniversary gift

I just ran low on time/money/patience to do them before the wedding. I wish I had some advice for you, but it sounds like you're doing everything I would (drinking water, etc) but just be confident and smile! Your FI will love them!

I used to model back when I was younger (college) and that sounds about right. If they have clothes you can wear that fit the theme, I would probably just go with what they have. If they aren't doing your hair/makeup, you could research the pin up style so that you know how to do it to fit the theme.
That's about all I've got, haha.

I might also do a 1 year anniversary gift but haven't thought about it yet too much, so I don't have too many suggestions for you.

I had my shoot this past Saturday and I had SUCH a good time. I bought 2 things from Fredericks and I had one other outfit of my own already, then did another change into just panties and knee high boots and a boa I had from halloween. (Total of 4 outfit changes) She made me feel super comfortable since I was a nervous wreck when I got there. I guess the champagne probably helped too! Just relax and have fun with it! Your FI will love it!

Mine is this saturday, I got a cute matching bra and panty set with a VS giftcard and have a lovely silk robe mom gave me. I've been drinking water and chamomile tea, staying away from booze and caffinee and hitting the gym. not gonna lie I am still a bit nervous but I think the pay off is worth it. Besides who doesnt want to document their hotness?
