    Lol, it's actually next weekend and I'm not sure what we're doing, I left it up to my bridesmaids. I'm assuming that it's in Baltimore, all that I told them is that I don't want to go out in Canton (b/c we live there and I don't want to run into FI!), I want to dance, and I'm not interested in any male entertainment! I did find a dress yesterday, but it's currently a backup. Thanks for asking! When is yours? I think we're getting married on the same weekend, are you Nov 7?

    Actually mine was Labor Day weekend. It was fun! Me, my MOH, and a BM had b-pics done first (2 other BMs with us did our hair and make up) at a hotel. Then we went to dinner at M&S grill where we met up with some other people, including 2 of my underage sisters who are BMs, then back to the hotel for pre drinking, then out to the bars at Power Plant. Is your FI's bachelor party the same night in Canton? You def don't want a run in then! Are you staying in a hotel or going home after? You're gonna have a blast I'm sure!Yes, our weddings are the same weekend. But we did my bach party early b/c we needed to get the b-pics back by my wedding and one of my BMs anniversary.

    His bachelor party isn't the same weekend, but I'm sure he'll try to make some plans, AKA go out in Canton, with his friends that night. I know we're staying at a hotel wherever we are, & I'm pretty sure that Power Plant will be involved :-) I just did b-pics myself, they were so much fun! It sounds like your b-party was a great time. I'm doing mine a bit early too b/c 1 of my BMs lives in MA and I wanted her to be able to come to the shower and b-party, so we decided to do them on the same weekend. I can't wait! I just can't believe it's a week away already.

    Oh wow! That's a great idea to do them both the same weekend! Trying to coordinate with everyone's schedules is so hard, particularly when you have a lot of OOT friends and family. Since we did Labor Day and on the same night, a lot of people couldn't make it. A lot of our friends are mutual couple friends with kids and only one could go unless they got a sitter! I don't know when my shower is... it's a surprise I guess :) Did you register for your shower? If so, have you checked the purchased items at all? It's SO hard not to!

    I mean, doing the shower and b-party the same weekend is a great idea for your OOT people.

    We have registered at 2 stores. I really want to be surprised when I open gifts at the shower, so I reeeeeally didn't want to check the registry in advance. But temptation got the best of me and I actually just checked both this morning and several items have already been purchased! I was really surprised! But I swear that after today I am not checking again til after the shower... at least I'm going to try not to, lol.
