Wychmere Harbor Club

I am looking at having my reception (and ceremony) at the Wychmere in Harwich Port, MA...just wondering if anyone had any comments/suggestions about this place in general! Especially if it is worth the $150 pp! Thanks!Taryn

    I went to a wedding there in July and it was beautiful.  They got married outside and they had a beautiful set up for it.  We also had cocktail hour out on the patio, which had about 50 charis with tables set up to sit at.  The food was outstanding and the decor was great.  As a guest I loved it and would love to go to another wedding there.  Hope this helped a bit :)

    You might want to post on the Cape Cod board, too.  I think there are a few girls over there who are getting married at Wychmere.I didn't look there for my wedding, but I've seen pictures and have driven by it a few times.  Personally, I think it looks gorgeous!

    I ended up chosing Chatham Bars Inn (I liked the feel of the open-aired Beach House), but I loved Wychmere!  It is beautiful and the coordinator (I think her name is Karen?) really seems like she has her stuff together.  This was my mom's favorite venue that we looked at!  Good luck!

    We got married there June 2008 and I can't say enough about it. We are still getting compliments on our wedding from people. Karen doesn't miss a detail and the entire staff was great. We did the sailboat entrance which was awesome and a surprise to our guests. If you have any questions you can PM me
